What There is a River is All About

There Is a River is a faith-centered movement created to bring awareness to bullying, injustice, isolation, and the harm people can experience when others choose to stand by instead of standing beside them. This space is about encouraging love, kindness, respect, truth, healthy boundaries, and community. We believe no one should have to face mistreatment alone or feel pressured to prove their worth just to belong. Through stories, conversations, creative expression, and faith-based encouragement, There Is a River reminds us that we are stronger when we stop working against one another and learn to flow together. Don't stand by. Stand beside. 🌊

What There Is a River is All About

Every movement begins with a story meant to inspire.

There Is a River was born from a desire to create something different—a place where people can talk freely about bullying, injustice, rejection, isolation, healing, and the things that often happen behind closed doors.

Our story is not about covering up the pain that exists. It is about refusing to let pain have the final brushstroke of painting our purpose and our destiny .

There Is a River is a community-centered movement built on the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and treated with dignity. We believe that healing can begin when someone finally feels safe enough to share their story—and when others are willing to listen.

At the heart of There Is a River is our faith and our desire to honor The Most High through the way we live, speak, serve, and treat one another.

Our foundational principle comes from Colossians 3:17:

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Most High, giving thanks to the Most High and by His Son.”

— Colossians 3:17 (KJV)

This scripture reminds us that what we say and what we do matter.
