Meet the Creatress Behind There Is a River Behind every movement is a story, and behind There Is a River is a Creatress who believes that meaningful change begins when we choose to see one another with greater compassion. There Is a River was created from a desire to encourage people to move beyond simply witnessing hurt and instead become willing to stand beside those who may feel unheard, isolated, or mistreated. At the heart of this movement is a simple belief: our differences should never become an excuse to devalue one another. Through faith, creativity, storytelling, and community, the goal is to encourage healthier ways of communicating, setting boundaries, protecting one another, and responding to bullying—including forms of bullying that may be overlooked or difficult to recognize. The name There Is a River represents movement. A river continues to flow, find its way around obstacles, and connect one place to another.
